(en español)Nearshore Work Day 4
Today, we had a great turnout of local middle school, high school,
and other local volunteers.
It was a beautiful morning spent cleaning Black Eagle Marina to
the Harbor Restaurant.
The group of 20 volunteers generated this pile of debris after an
hour and a half.
These are photos of the Saturday volunteering crew. Thanks
everyone!
After the hard work along the shore, we headed into the water.
The visibility didn't allow us to work in the water so we just swam
around for a little while enjoying the warmth of the water and
the sun.
The group of volunteers that helped in this effort are as
follows:
Lisa Annibell, Freyda Zell, Nicole Steinborn, Ibett Rosario,
Angelina Figueroa, Angel Figueroa, Christian Figueroa Rosario,
Alexis Velez, Fernando Ortiz,Tsunami Ortiz, Yolando Candelaria,
Luis Echevarria, Rafael Soto, Maria Soto, Cyd Echevarria,
Paulette Intreglai, Ruby Prothers, Kirby Lantz, Ciara Lantz,
Carol Ritch, and Pauco Font.
